I'm still here!

Just a quick post so you don't think I have fallen into a black hole... never to return! I can't believe it has been over two months since my last post! Guess that tells you how busy I have been! Anyway... this is what I have been working on. I am just going to pretty much be posting pictures since my kids are yelling and chasing each other at the moment. Let's be honest though... pictures are really the main part anyway... right?

Good Luck Charm Collaborative Project

I was honored when I was asked to participate in a project hosted by Simple Sweets by Honeybee! She asked me to submit a photo of my good luck charm.... in cookie form. I have been wanting to do a silhouette cookie of my children, so since they are my lucky charms... this was the perfect opportunity! So here it is.... my good luck charm.

1500 and 2000 fan giveaway!!!

I am FINALLY getting around to posting my giveaways! I was so excited when I hit 1500 fans! I didn't even have a chance to do that giveaway before 2000 fans came... so I am doing them both! There will be THREE total winners!

For my 1500 fan giveaway... I am giving away two prizes. They are each related to my favorite little people! One represents my son and the other represents my daughter.

For my sons package, the winner will receive a 4.5 oz bottle of blue Americolor gel, a football cookie cutter (since he loves sports), a crayon cookie cutter (since he loves to color and draw), and 3 football shaped cookies made by me (not pictured).

Since my daughters room is done in cupcakes and we call her our little cupcake, her package will be all cupcake related. This package will include a 4.5 oz bottle of pink Americolor gel, a cupcake cookie cutter, a cupcake cake pop mold, and 3 cupcake shaped cookies made  by me (not pictured).

I was lucky to enough participate in a project with some amazing cookie ladies. We all did cookies related to our favorite tv show. I chose Pretty Little Liars.  I was also lucky enough to have the Pretty Little Liars facebook page share my cookies and that is what pushed me over the 2000 fan mark. I thought it was only fitting to give away PLL cookies for my 2000 prize. The winner will receive the dozen cookies pictured below.

Mardi Gras and Tink

I was very lucky this week because the two sets of cookies I did used some of the same colors. If you decorate cookies... you will understand why this excited me! :)

My friends little boy turned a year old! He was born the day before mardi gras last year, so they decided to do a mardi gras theme party this year! She asked me to make favors for the party and a cake topper for his smash cake.

I think Elliott had a fantastic birthday and I am so happy I was able to be a party of it!

I was also asked to do cookies for a friends daughter that was turning 18. She was throwing her a Tinkerbell themed party, so I made some Tinkerbell inspired cookies!

I have a busy week ahead of me, so I better get back to baking! :)

Hectic couple of weeks...

I have been so swamped with valentines day, that I didn't get a chance to post last week. Since I live in Louisiana, we also had Mardi Gras going on as well. It has been a hectic couple weeks, but hopefully things will slow down a little so I can catch up.

I was also asked to do Toy Story cookies. I was so nervous about these... but my friend loved them!

And then came Valentine's day. I baked, iced, and packaged about 800 minis in about 4 days. I was/still kind of am tired! lol

I also achieved a goal this week!! I had set a goal of one day having a set of my cookies go "viral" and what happened was good enough for me! I had the Pretty Little Liars facebook page share my Pretty Little Liars cookies . I couldn't have been more excited to have over 30,000 likes!!
